Disney has just released the first look at the new movie based on Ubisofts long running Price of Persia series. The Sands of Time is a look at how the story of the prince began. I have no played any of the PoP games other than the latest release that game last holiday. Jake Gyllenhaal has been casted as the price, which at first I wasnt so sure about based on his
lack of action movie experience. With that said, he is a solid actor and I believe the script can
only be as good as the actors in the movie. He needs to be witty yet convincing enough to the
audience that he can also be the hero. I hope that the special effects will meet the range that
the games produced and that we can finally see a solid game based movie for once. The turn
around in quality of comic based movies was first, now its the gaming industries turn. The only
problem with that is that video games are already telling you a story via voice actors and CGI.
where as comics are based on how solely what you see, the rest is up to you. I am excited to see
what this movie turns out to be like.
